Coaching is…

Coaching is an effective way of reaching your goals. Through coaching you can break negative though patterns and gain control and agency over your future.

We all have areas in our lives that need improvement, or cause us frustration because we feel we are not reaching our full potential. Typically, these frustrations come down to personal motivation, self-confidence, not being specific enough about how we want our lives to be, and recognizing and getting rid of our own limiting beliefs. We all have them.

How can Coaching Help You?

With coaching, we can help you define your purpose, and align them with your own personal values. Perhaps you are lost and unsure what your next steps should be. Maybe you are struggling to find a fulfilling job or attempting to start over. Basically, whether change is on the horizon in your career or your relationships, coaching can help you define your clarity of purpose. Coaching can support you to lay out realistic and attainable steps toward achieving them.

Essentially, each coaching session is modeled specifically to you, your needs, and is determined by your own unique skills and values. Accordingly, coaching can provide accountability and increase your own personal resources. Ultimately, coaching can give you the ease and confidence to live your best life.

Our Coach

Alan has been through many of life’s major transitions: as an immigrant, through a long-term relationship, and career. So, he is very attuned to the challenges that come with navigating huge change. He comes from a career in the theatre and television, and understands the pressures of working to deadlines, under extreme circumstances, and having to be self-reliant and accountable.

His approach is proactive, and his aim is to bring you a level of accountability where you no longer need a coach. Further, he wants you to become the person you want to be. He incorporates the Gottman idea of Small Things Often, as it relates to the individual. What are the day-to-day small things you can incorporate into your life that will lead to the bigger goals? Your ideal outcome? He refers to your ultimate vision, the place you really want to be at, as your “Light” To use an old theatre saying, he wants you to “find your light” The way to do that, is to step into the light. Be proactive. Take control. Ownership.
