Keeping a relationship strong and opening the lines of communication can be difficult for any couple or family to achieve. However, our professional and friendly staff here at East Bay Relationship Center are experts at helping to heal relationships and guiding our clients as they form strong bonds and family units.

We understand that trying to work through your issues can be overwhelming, and this is where we can help. We bring extensive experience, insight, and a dedication to each client, couple, or family we work with at our East Bay counseling center. Our staff understands that every family dynamic is different, and we tailor solutions to help open the lines of communication and remove the chaos from each relationship we work with.

Our Methods

We use different methods for different situations at our East Bay counseling center. Our goal is to give everyone a safe and secure place to talk and help work through their problems, and this is where our different approaches help.

  • Gottman Method - The Gottman Method is backed by over 40 years of research conducted by Dr. John Gottman involving thousands of couples. Couples who partake in these sessions start with an assessment questionnaire and move into varying stages of therapy.

  • Intensive Therapy - Our intensive therapy sessions last between four and six hours and we schedule them one or two times a week. We'll explore your relationship and help repair any cracks or past hurts.

Why Choose Our East Bay Counseling Center for Your Relationship

Simply put, our therapists, approaches, and methods work. We concentrate on every aspect of your relationship and help correct behavior that isn't working or that's leading to conflict or communication breakdown.

Additionally, we offer services to the entire family. This is especially helpful if there are communication breakdowns, or if you're trying to blend a new family or get over a traumatic divorce or breakup.

As your family's priorities shift and evolve, we'll help you change your perspectives and evolve right along with them. Not only does this encourage respect, but it encourages new admiration. In turn, you can start to build or rebuild your bonds into something much more lasting and strong.

Perhaps there is a lot of conflict. While this is normal amongst all families at one point or another, we'll teach you how to step away from the conflict and resolve it peacefully. We want to help you meet all of your challenges head on, and we can do this by tailoring a plan to work with your family or yourself.

If you need one-on-one individual therapy, we offer it as well. Understanding your feelings and emotions and how to handle them in healthy ways is key to unlocking your true potential. Maybe you feel like you're stuck in a rut and going nowhere fast. Although most people feel like this at one point or another, you don't have to go it alone.

Whether you want to develop healthy coping strategies or find ways of addressing and dealing with your concerns, we're here to help.

We also offer several events that train our clients in the Gottman Method starting at level one and going up to level three. You'll learn core skills to help develop a healthy relationship with your partner and with your family members. At the end, you'll get a certification.
